1. I've been so bad recently...blogging, tweeting and all other forms of social media have taken a serious back seat.  Working ten hour days, commuting for 2 hours and probably having one too many drinks at the weekend means I literally have no time to do anything at the moment.  I seriously commend all those who manage to blog, tweet, youtube, tumblr, formspring, instagram etc etc (any others?!); work; sleep and have a life.  Some of you are amazing examples of the female species!  I'm going to try so hard to get better at this - I'm not promising anything but really need to attempt to post more regularly!

2. This boy makes Home and Away even more of a guilty pleasure every evening.

3. It was my 23rd birthday last week and I celebrated, probably a little bit too hard, with all of my best friends who are so special to me and made the weekend so amazing.  I am planning a post to showcase all the beautiful things they got me - they are too kind and totally spoilt me.  It was so amazing for us all to be together and I miss them already.  I am so grateful to have such beautiful, kind, clever and funny friends and hope they will forever be a part of my life. 

4. I had some eyelash extensions applied a whole two hours ago and can already tell this will be a new addiction!  I am not blessed with the longest of lashes (and I'm sure a little accident when I managed to cut them all off hasn't helped...) but with these, they look long, thick, healthy and just all round amazing!  I will definitely get some pictures for you in the light - I am truly in love.

5. 2 of my favourite artists - Blake and Mary J Blige - come together and well, magic happens...

1.I've just found out that I start my new (and first real) job two weeks later than planned.  Happy is not the word - I can now put aside those horrible backtoschool-type feelings and squeeze out even more from my summer.

2. Horrible bosses is an absolutely hilarious film.  If you want to laugh for two hours - this is for you!  If you have seen it then you'll understand why 'That's not my name' will never be the same...

3. I am truly fed up with my entire wardobe and am currently in the process of selling it all on eBay.  I cannot wait for the new season - I always find it easier to dress for Autumn/Winter.  The new on-trend cranberry hues are first on my list in the form of some new skinnies and a beautiful new coat will definitely need to be purchased - it's an Autumn tradition!

4. I've used weheartit for a few years now...scrolling through the pages, finding gorgeous pictures then posting them on tumblr.  This all seemed such a faff especially as it was really just for me to keep a little 'inspiration station'. So, I now just heart the pictures on weheartit and forget all about that tumblr nonsense!
I go through stages with pictures like these - either getting inspired or just generally depressed/jealous that I will never be able to be in/take such gorgeous photos.  Luckily I'm currently in a good place and getting inspired!  Here are some recent Summer faves....

5. Are shorts getting shorter by the week?  I know denim cut offs will always be a summer staple but are they meant to resemble underwear? Or am I just getting old?!

Falling out of love with

Collection 2000 Big Fake Lash mascara.  I used to love it and rave about it but unfortunately my second tube is not my friend!  Smudging and flaking galore... My mascara mission continues!


Debating about

Investing in the Sigma Professional brush kit.  With express delivery, the total cost will be approximately £110 which amounts to around £7 per brush, not factoring in the brush roll either.  It is just a large sum of money to spend at once - what do you girls reckon?  A worthwhile and good value for money investment or should I increase my collection gradually with a few brushes at a time?

Maybelline's Gel Liner.  It has to be said, this unassuming little pot has put my faith back into drugstore make up.  It is creamy, easy to work with, cheap and stays put all day long.  No transferring, smudging or fading.  Now I just need it to be available in brown....

A poster, presentation and four exams are all that stand between me and the end of my degree.  The 7th of June cannot come quick enough!

My 'imitation' Alexander Wang Rocco - as showcased on Victoria's blog - arriving.  I am honestly so excited - I've wanted a Rocco since I first laid eyes on it many moons ago but there is no way I could afford £800 on a bag right now, so this bargain has made my week!

I blogged a while ago about how Zara's Collection perfume smelt amazingly like Chanel Chance.  Unfortunately, it seemed to go off the shelves for a while but when I spotted it this week, I had to grab a bottle!  At £10, it's an absolute steal and perfect for wearing in the day.

Reminiscing Over

The last two and a half years at Manchester.  In a few months it will all be over and as an occasionally over-emotional girl, I'm feeling really overwhelmed!

If you'd have told me a week ago that I would pay for a gym membership, invest in a pair of trainers, visit the gym three times in four days AND enjoy it - I would have called you mental.  But, apparently I can surprise myself!
