Ne-Yo’s reign at #1 was ended this week on the UK Singles Chart. “Closer” Ne-Yo’s second no.1 hit in the United Kingdom dropped to no.2, replaced by Dizzee Rascal and Calvin Harris’ “Dance Wiv Me.” The “Year of the Gentleman” singer’s first UK no.1 “So Sick” landed in the same spot in 2006. Despite intense competition on the chart, Chris Brown still has two singles in the top 10 this week. His collaboration with Jordin Sparks on “No Air” lands at #4, followed by “Forever” at #5. Capping off this week’s top 10, Rihanna who received praise for her performance over the weekend at the Essence Music Festival lands at #8 with “Take A Bow.”
